The Raleigh Show in March/April has become a show trip tradition with our first stop in the micropolis city of Mt. Airy, NC, hometown of Mayberry’s Andy, Aunt Bea, Opie and all the rest of the “simple life” characters. This whole show is full of  great venues. The Show is held at a great, airy pavilion on the NC State fairgrounds, less than 1 mile from a great hotel location where we all gather outside in the warm Carolina sun. At 7:30 am we drive past a full flea market/antique/live plant and animal displays, full of people who do walk over to the show. At this Raleigh Show many exhibitors do this show exclusively: The Tobacco Museum, a display from “Pipes and Tobacco” magazine archives, Hand rolled cigars, and BBQ sandwiches made fresh and served by Professors from NC State. Southern hospitality and their own uniqueness draws people from up and down the East Coast, New England   to Florida and everywhere in between....Y'allll....
