The next show, after New York, is Raleigh NC 04.19.08. Raleigh is a great 1 day show held at the fairgrounds in it's own building where you CAN smoke! This is a must attend Show, if you can. Great people, Great organization, Great fun, what more can be said?
We have met so many interesting, knowledgeable , helpful, and wonderful individuals to try and name them all would be next to imposable. But any information about Pipe Shows, pipe smoking, and pipe collecting should include some of these individuals. We must start with those who have most influenced "HTWC". First, Frank burla continues to be a source of inspiration and knowledge. Frank is the driving force behind the Chicagoland Pipe Collectors Club International pipe and tobacciana event. this year's event is from the end of April through May 5th. The actual show dates are May 3 and 4.
After an afternoon phone conversation with Mr. Burla here is what we know. No smoking any were in the resort. There will be 20% of the rooms as smoking rooms. The Mega center and the TENT (?) will be smoking! The show will be smoking! The Friday night dinner NO SMOKING. The Saturday night cigar Dinner NO SMOKING. The show is sold out. Many new foreign pipe makers and collectors will be there. More on the show as we Know more.

There will be a Friday afternoon and evening open house at the St. Louis Pipe Club Room at the Hilton St. Louis Airport 10330 Natural Bridge Road, St. Louis. We hope to see many of you there.
